Goal: Help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Who provides it: Certified caregivers or aides (may have CNA certification depending on state).

Bathing, grooming, dressing
Toileting and incontinence care
Mobility assistance (transferring, walking)
Feeding assistance
Good for: Individuals who need hands-on help with daily routines but donβt require medical care.

Goal: Provide medical care and treatment.
Who provides it: Licensed nurses (RNs or LPNs).
Services include:
Wound care
Injections (e.g., insulin, medication)
IV therapy
Monitoring vital signs

Post-surgical care
Hospice/palliative care
Good for: People recovering from surgery, with chronic illnesses, or needing ongoing medical attention at home.
